<p>I really want to find a career in these areas so I would deeply appreciate it if you guys could tell me what are some of the best schools that include both great Journalism and Graphic Design courses that would really help me learn the stuff and give me the right education to pursue my dream career.
Thank you so much!</p>
<p>Mizzou is a top journalism uni. Not sure about the status of the graphic design but it is offered there.</p>
<p>ASU has the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and a great Visual Communication program, [Visual</a> Communication Design | School of Architecture + Landscape Architecture | ASU Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts](<a href=“http://sala.asu.edu/degrees/undergrad/bsd_viscom.php]Visual”>http://sala.asu.edu/degrees/undergrad/bsd_viscom.php)</p>
<p>Northwestern, Syracuse…</p>
<p>[Goldring</a> Arts Journalism](<a href=“http://artsjournalism.syr.edu/]Goldring”>http://artsjournalism.syr.edu/)</p>
<p>[S.I</a>. Newhouse School of Public Communications](<a href=“http://newhouse.syr.edu/]S.I”>http://newhouse.syr.edu/)</p>
<p>End of discussion.</p>
<p>TSUKIAMI,
I know that we have been notified in the previous post the (ahem) it’s the “end of discussion”. But I was wondering…are you interested in doing a double major? It’s not always possible (contact each school). What do you consider your objectives?</p>
<p>Haha.
Thanks musicamusica.
I would love to double major. It’d be pretty hard but I think I could handle it.
I would like to major as a journalist. I want to work for a magazine or for a newspaper and write. Nothing like a broadcasting journalist. I would like to be a magazine editor as well.
In the arts, I’m really into graphic design and the whole advertising area.
I’m not experienced in Journalism.
But I am attending an arts HS. I do 2-D with a broad range of media and a bit of photography.
But I love design. That’s what I want to do.
So yes. I’D LOVE TO DOUBLE MAJOR IN BOTH JOURNALISM AND GRAPHIC DESIGN.
The thing is that I havent found a university that offers great programs in both areas… :(</p>
<p>Thank you!
This might be a stupid question but, if I get in ASU, can I attend those two programs at their schools?
Like, take the jounalism program at the walter cronkite school of journalism and visual communications at asu herberger?</p>
