Best Scores Combo

Does anyone know if I can do this:

On the Colorado state-mandated ACT, I got a 27:
E - 30
R - 29
M - 25
S - 24

But, I’m applying to Ithaca, so I had to do the plus writing portion; therefore, I retook it but didn’t too so hot. I had a nosebleed during the reading test and couldn’t concentrate. I got a 25:
E - 29
R - 20
M - 28
S - 23
Writing - 11

So, what I want to do is use my science, English, and reading scores from before, but my math and writing scores from the second time. Isn’t this possible? And if so, what do I do?

You cannot combine the scores to send them. ACT will only send the entire test from a test date.

You could check with Ithaca if they superscore the ACT (take the best subscores) - some schools do though I believe it is not common. If they do you would have to send them both scores.

If you do not want them to see the bad scores you will need to retake it.
