I’m not even exactly sure what the names of the dorms in the six pack are. But anyway, what is usually considered the craziest/most fun dorm? Also any other information about the six pack would be great.

Purely random selection pits floor against floor and Res. Hall against Res. Hall in this unique section of campus.

my brother graduated from here and i know a lot of people who go here…6 pack has been kind of converted into the residence halls known as ikenberry commons north/south. both halls are known as the most social, so if you have any intention of making friends you’ll do great in either. as my brother said, “6 pack is where you wanna be.” here’s a little more info…pay attention to the fact that snyder in ike south is substance free…

oops forgot the link, here

Thanks. I was kind of confused because I thought there were supposed to be six dorms, but I think I get it now.

So any of these dorms would probably be good?

The six pack refers to six east side dorms, Synder, Scott, Weston, Hopkins, Garner and Forbes. Only five of those are left since Garner has been demolished to make way for a new dorm. Also, there is one other new dorm in the area, Nugent, which opened a few years ago at which time they also renamed the general area as Ikenberry Commons, North and South, which includes all the east side dorms not just the six pack. The plan is to replace several of the dorms with new ones. The most highly desired dorm now is Nugent since it is the first new dorm built on campus in over 40 years and is a much nicer facility than the old halls. However, freshman have little chance of getting into it since upperclassmen get priority and choose it. The five remaining members of the six pack are similar buildings and staying in one is not much different than staying in the others except that Snyder is a declared substance free dorm.

Is Snyder just as social as the other 5? Or does the substance free part make it less social?
