Best source of reading?

What's the best source of articles you can read to improve your scores? Best sections in those sources? Thanks, and reps to reply.

Obvious ones: the Washington Post, NY Times, Wall Street Journal, the Economist...

Crappy ones: Time, Newsweek

add to the list people...

Reason, read Plato's Republic, that will increase you vocab exponentially (I know you wanted short reading but it was staring back up at me). If you have an e-mail address you can subscribe to www.wordsmart.com, they will e-mail you a new word each day. Noam Chomsky has a vast array of vocab in his books and they are really short. Try Descent. "Crappy ones: Time, Newsweek" I'm sorry I'm going to have to disagree, you can acquire a extensive vocab by reading these as well, not limited to these, to suggest that you cant learn something from these mags is a fallacy. Just read read, and the read. Don't forget the sight www.wordsmart.com. Good Luck!
