You can also look up JCPenney and Target.

cd - We got post-Katrina XL jersey at BB&B, ala what alwaysamom linked to. They were a good buy and have held up well through the one term’s use so far.

Thanks, I think we found what he wanted at Target.

I’m with you concerneddad, my son and I are just now making a list of things he needs to go back to New Orleans. As a senior, I don’t want to spend a fortune as I don’t know where he will be next year. We had planned to sell his furniture to the next frat brother that moved into the apartment he is in to avoid dealing with moving the furniture. He loves the beech sheets from the above BB&B site. I had to buy a set for his bed here at home because he loved them so much!

We have decided to go pretty bare bones for the remainder of the year-bed, night stand, dresser for his room. The other two roomates and my son need to decided what each will bring for the common areas; they need a toaster oven, microwave, dishes, pots and pans, glasses, etc. They want- den furniture with a TV and stereo. I sent most of my extra kitchen stuff to them when they moved in 2 years ago and bought them a new microwave last year. If my son were staying longer than 4 months and we didn’t need a mover to move large stuff, I wanted mind buying more things or better quality; but I think he will need to wing it for the 4 months.

I hear you pokey. It is an everyday occurrence here: “S, do you have your …” “No, dad, that was in my dorm room and lost in the storm.”

Thank goodness the major stuff, laptop, large electronics, Martin Guitar, saxaphone, were stored in friends room on an upper floor.
