I can’t find a lot of info on subnotebooks (you know, those laptops except really small). I want one. Are they less expensive than a regular laptop? Any benefits or drawbacks to having a subnotebook?

They are generally more expensive than a regular laptop, are slower (for the price you pay for them), but have longer battery lives. Also, the screen size is smaller too, so if you’re planning on doing a lot of work on it, you probably don’t want to squint at such a small screen all the time.

I’d recommend a “regular sized” 15.4" widescreen notebook, and if you need the extra battery life, grab an extended or extra battery and you’re good to go.

I am also looking for one of those… Any ideas?? How about the Konjinsha… any good?

uh…aren’t those just ultralight/ultraportables? or tablets. anyway, they’re more expensive. buy fujitsu or IBM. you need a docking pad (like $150?) for optical drives and any input ports not included on the computer itself. not worth the price unless you absolutely need something that small. 13" macbook will do fine for most people.

I have an old panasonic R4 and was interested about getting something different… been surfing the net. How about Panasonic R7? any feedbk would
great. Thanks.
