Title pretty much explains it all… who are the best teachers for tenor voices? I know there’s a professor at Oberlin who’s apparently very good but I forget his name…

Check out Robert Grayson at LSU. He has several successful young tenors working professionally.

I hear everett Mccorvey ( I think thats how you spell his name) at U of KY is excellent

i HIGHLY suggest kurt hansen at northwestern. highly.

I am a graduate of the university of kentucky and a former student of dr. mccorvey…he is an amazing tenor teacher. he even helped several baritones make the switch comfortably to tenor.

plus, one of his students is gregory turay.

Oh wow! Doctor Mccorvey did the masterclass at a summer program I went to at Transy University called Kentucky governors school for the arts. Are you a recent graduate of UK? If my memory serves me correctly, he said something about switching from baritone to tenor so I guess that’s why he can help his students so well.

I believe the man at Oberlin is Salvatore Champagne, as well as Richard Miller, but he has recently retired.
