My tip:
For international travel, use your cellphone data roaming as a hotspot. On our recent trip abroad, only one of us activated cellphone int’l data roaming (expensive!). By turning on the hotspot feature, the rest of our travelling party could have internet wifi service.

Only downside is that the other users can’t stray too far away ftom your phone.

Putting a little baking soda in the pot of water when boiling eggs. Makes peeling a lot easier

Use a drinking straw to husk strawberries. Turn the strawberry upside down or sideways and push the straw all the way through the pointy end of the strawberry after straightening out the greenery. Use the greenery to pull the core out of the straw.

Finally found a use for those frisbees that companies like to give away. I put them in my rock salt can and use them to spread rock salt on the icy driveway.

My next trick will be tossing the frisbee full of rock salt to areas far away from me, and training the dog to fetch the frisbee and bring it back to me.

I saw Heloise use this trick 40 years ago on a TV program: Take a spray bottle of water and spray on wrinkled clothes, then shake them out or smooth them down. This will get out even long-set wrinkles in almost any fabric. It won’t make clothes where you want sharp, ironed creases, but works great for anything else. I can’t even tell you where my iron is anymore.

Better yet, hang the clothes you want to de-wrinkle in the bathroom while taking a hot shower. This works especially great with knits and dress shirts that are just a bit wrinkled. Or get a steamer!

When traveling with dressy clothes, place the item (still on the hanger) into a plastic drycleaners or department store bag. The plastic will cling to the fabric and prevent it from wrinkling. I usually roll those bag-wrapped dresses and pants.

Good tip for ensuring families spend some time “together”.
