Best Value MPP?

I’m having trouble finding any lower costing MPP programs that are still respected. If anyone could give me any suggestions of colleges, that would be very appreciated. Thanks!

The ones that are going to be the best value is if you happen to live in a state with a strong MPP program at a public university. Berkeley, Michigan, Indiana, Wisconsin, UT-Austin, UW-Seattle, Ohio State, Minnesota, UGA, UCLA, Florida State, Arizona State, Georgia Tech, Georgia State, Texas A&M, Maryland, SUNY-Albany, and UNC-Chapel Hill all have good MPP programs.

Some of these places are also relatively inexpensive for non-residents, especially compared to private schools like Columbia. For example, Minnesota’s MPP program tuition is about $28,000 a year, which is at least $10K cheaper than a comparable private school. It’s probably also cheaper to live in the Twin Cities than New York or Boston. UGA’s MPA tuition is about $25,000 a year, and Athens is dirt-cheap.

Princeton’s MPP program at the Woodrow Wilson school comes with a full tuition scholarship and a stipend to cover living expenses. However, the program is aimed at mid-career professionals with at least 7 years of experience in the public or nonprofit sector, and is very competitive.

Juillet,

Thanks so much for the reply. I really appreciate it!
