Best Way to Beat The SAT`s

i took the sat twice and got 2030 the first time and 2200 second time
Well now iam half way through the admission process and now realize my grave mistake
Just a small advice to the millions of SAT takers

take that sat twice as every college (big or small, ivy league or unknown) supersores
But dont take it more than twice

first attempt: study just for maths dont study fro CR and Writing (might be you can brush up a bit).SAT maths is really easy and wioth a month of sole SAT prep you can get 750+ for sure

second attempt: focus only on CR and writing leave out the math componet.also give more importance to CR as college gives priority only to CR+math

i think this is the best way to beat the SAT`S and it releives stress. Also writing section is almost insignificant and pay least attention to it.Though you may focus on ur essay

i was an ass and studied for all 3 sections and ended up with MATH 800writing 800 and CR 600. f**k it

hope this was useful

And why shouldnt I take it more than twice again?

Not every college superscores. The UC system considers the highest single sitting of the exam. There are a few other schools that do not superscore.

Colleges vary in how they regard the writing section. I don’t think it’s correct to say that it is “almost insignificant.” Prospective students might want to check with their target schools about how much weight is given to the writing section.

I’m not so sure your plan would increase scores, or relieve stress, for all test takens. Is there really much benefit to slacking on one section at a time?

There have been many posts about how often to take the SAT. If a student is confident his score will rise on a third sitting there’s no reason to avoid it.

I agree with MD_Mom. And studying for one section per exam is silly. Colleges will sure to take notice in the weirdness. And writing is important!! Northwestern for one requires the writing section particularly.
