<p>Just doing my research with all the travel mavens on CC–I will be in NYC this weekend and may need to get to the Harrisburg area from there. </p>

<p>There is a train that goes from Penn Station into downtown Harrisburg. The cost is 50 dollar one way. It takes about three hours. You can check the schedule on the Amtrak website. Trailway also runs a bus service into Harrisburg. The cost is less but I have never taken one.</p>
