Best way to get to Cornell from NYC

Hi guys, I signed up for a campus tour and I want to know the best way to get to Cornell University. I will be alone and have to arrive at 3:30. I heard about different busses but which bus offers the best ride/deal? I looked at the campus to campus bus and shoreline bus already, but some reviews said shoreline busses were always late… Which bus do you guys rely on and feel safe traveling alone in?

Buses - 1) Cornell bus ($80) that leaves from Weil Medical center and stops also at 35th near Grand Central (I don’t recall exact address but google it) 2) NYC Port Authority also has non-stop Cornell buses - ensure you take express bus. Ticket is $50… Cornell bus drops you in campus and Express bus near by - I think walking distance to west campus or collegetown. Again google.

You can also look into Big Red Bullet. It is not as nice as campus to campus, but nicer than Shoreline.

The only downside of BRB is it doesn’t stop at the campus. It drops you off at the Common. You can take a taxi from the Common to the campus for few dollars. My kid used to take it.
