What books, techniques are best to help me maximize my score? Any input is appreciated. I’ve also heard that since programs on your calc (I have a TI 84 Plus Silver Edition) are allowed that there are programs that can help improve your score (or speed up the rate at which you finish problems). I took it once, and received the terrible score of 620 My math is a bit weak even though I finished AP Calc AB this previous year (received a B both semesters). Again any help is appreciated, tips, tricks, strategies, what books/resources to use/buy, calculator programs, etc etc. My goal is to score above 700. Thanks in advance!

If you can get your hands on a TI-nspire calculator, that thing will help you enormously. If you can learn how to use the TI-nspire, systems of equations, graphs, matrices, etc can be quickly done and you can get through the test so easily.

I think the Sparknotes tests may be a bit more difficult than the real thing. I used Sparknotes, Barron’s, and the blue book from Collegeboard and the real test was slightly more difficult than the blue book, but not as difficult as barron’s and Sparknotes.

@josesuk Lies! TI 84 silver plus > regular TI nspire all day long
I wouldn’t really suggest learning how to use a new calculator; the TI 84 silver plus is more than enough for the SAT subject test.

I would most agree with runnerxc’s first and third points. As long as you understand everything fairly well, there is nothing better than practice. I’d suggest definitely the Collegeboard math subject test book (2 tests), as well as Barron’s for more tests if you need them. That isn’t really a ton of practice though; if you’ve taken pre-cal, doing a lot of extra problems from your textbook in some of your weak areas could be very helpful. Understanding how to use your calculator effectively and efficiently will also allow you to overcome some of your weaker areas, as well as have more time for the harder questions.

can you guys please tell me that for ti-84 silver plus have they explained everything how to use it and all that?
and how do we know like what functions we will have to use for sat-2 math level-2? i have been using fx-99ies casio for my entire life.
thanks
