Best way to increase score in low 700s? (Any actual examples?)

How have some of you increased scores from low 700s, of which vocab is not the main problem. Do you just keep taking/learning from practice tests?
Thx.

Just take it again. I honestly think that if you have a score in the low 700s, you have the potential to get an 800 depending on the test. I got a 730 CR the first time I took the SAT. I took it again 10 months later, absolutely no studying, and got a 780. And if you’ve taken it multiple times with low 700s…just stick with that. It’s still a great score.

I second adf8. I went from a 720 on CR to an 800 with no prep in between. Most people scoring in the low 700s have the ability to get a 780/790/800. It just depends on how familiar you are with the test and if you have a good testing day. I think the best way to prepare is to just do practice tests and understand why you miss certain types of questions. good luck.

CR: Focus harder on reading passages–this will likely be easier while taking the actual test than a practice one. I went from ~720 to 800 by focusing.

Writing: Just look over a grammar packet/book. Chances are, you’ll find one or two things you didn’t know before. Here’s a good one, courtesy of Taggart: <a href=“Photo Storage”>Photo Storage; … Got me from ~700 to 770 (78/80 MC, better essay would’ve been 800).

Math: Assuming you already know all the equations, just do lots of practice problems.

I second that packet being great. I had a writing score around or below 680 and after briefly skimming that packet the night before the test it went up to 720. (If I had read more into it, or done the questions with it I would have probably done even better).
