Best way to raise my score without the BB?

May 4 SAT:

M - 670 (omit 4; missed 3)
CR - 620 (omit 1; missed 13 - 3 SC, 10 Reading Comp.)
W - 650 (missed 4; 7 essay)

As you can tell, reading is not my thing. I absolutely HATE reading, and although I’m pretty good at comprehension in school, I’m horrible on the SAT. My essay was pretty bad too; I only wrote a page (3 paragraphs). Math I did okay in, but I really wanted a 700 at least.

So, how can I improve all three of my scores to at least 700 by the end of this year WITHOUT practicing in the Blue Book? I’m saving the tests when I get closer to the real test. Thanks a lot.

When are you taking the test again?

I actually recommend doing the BB once, and then doing the tests over again. Don’t write in the book the first time. If you make the same mistakes, then you know you’re doing something wrong.

Alternatively, you can purchase the CB Online SAT tests which are different from the BB tests.

I won’t be taking the SAT again for a LONG time (over a year). Thanks for your help; I will definitely do what you suggested.
