Best way to self-study for AP micro/macroeconomics

well i want to be either an intenrational business lawyer or an international economist so id like to take either micro or macro economics, or preferably both. but from what i can see, my school doesnt offer them. whats the best way to learn and take the ap exam?

The best way is to USE THE SEARCH FUNCTION AND FIND OTHER THREADS WITH THE EXACT SAME TOPIC.

good job on taking the initiative to self-study. I am doing the same thing. I want to go into business at wharton and our school doesnt have ap economics either. Go to ur local college store or internet and get the Mconnle Brue Ecnomics text 16th edition. In addition, I am using princeton review and kaplan ap books.

Okay sorry about the ass hole post but I self studied both and I would go with Mankiw’s Principles of Econ - Great book. Print out the outlines - read them and take notes for every thing covered and then read PR every day starting two weeks before the exam.

I self-studied both exams and got a 5 using nothing but the Princeton Review - Cracking the AP Economics book.

Did you use any other practice M/C books other than the ones in the back of princeton? If you did can you share the inform. with me? M/C can be a bit confusing and I think you should practice with many M/C you can find.thanks

I only used the PR book. The M/C questions heavily emphasize vocabulary, so you’re good to go if you just memorize all the bold words.

thank you
But can you say that m/c in pr covers most (like more than 80%) of the m/c in real AP?
are m/c question format the same as in real AP?
m/c in real APexam tricky or is it straight forward?
Ill appreciate your answer

In my experience, the PR book covered more than 90% of the actual AP M/C questions that I saw. That makes it especially good for self-study, since the M/C counts for 2/3 while the F/R only counts for 1/3. If you can ace the M/C questions, which tend to be straightforward, you’re well on your way to getting a 4 or 5.

thank you im_blue
thanks for your help!!
