Unlike everyone here, I’m really bad at SAT I Math. The problem is, I feel like I know all the concepts and I do, it’s just I can’t get some problems right? The highest I’ve gotten is a 670 (on the actual test). Any tips or suggestions? Are all the problems so similar that if I do enough, I’ll know how to do all of them? Thanks.

Don’t make that assumption; 670 is not that bad of a score.

If you’re getting the concepts then the best explanation is that you’re not understanding SAT Math. Sometimes you can still miss the question if you understand the concept. The best thing to do is to practice, practice, practice. Go over every question of each practice test you take, right or wrong, making sure to understand why you missed the question or why you got it right. Find patterns in your mistakes and try not to make them next time.

What helped me the most was getting to a point that I had at least 5 extra minutes per section to go back and check problems that i was unsure of. To do this, you must first realize when you’re having trouble, mark the problem, and then go back to it at the end, budgeting your time on all the other problems. And even if you can’t improve, a 670 is still a very good score.
