<p>Whenever I hear a truck driver’s excuse about how he or she hadn’t slept for hours on end, I always ask myself why would a conscientious person endanger himself and others on the roadways like that.</p>

<p>The major news channels said this morning that he may have fallen asleep at the wheel.</p>

<p>I am not surprised when I hear they haven’t slept, but even if they have, highway driving in itself can be awfully monotonous and hypnotizing.
They dont even stop to pee.
Of course thats more difficult for the female truckers.
