I’ve gotten four so far…
University of Evansville was good; even though I found out from an email before and I was quite sure I’d get in, they had the whole official folder with a gold seal.
Coe’s was in a small envelope, but after I read it again I saw a part talking about how much they liked my essay about Mongolia!
Drake’s was a nice big folder with a picture of a cute bulldog, which gives them major bonus points.

Oh and Tulane’s was pretty nice too, especially since they offered me a nice scholarship :)

I’ve had 3 acceptances so far. PSU’s was decent. They sent me a folder with a ton of info and an acceptance letter. Mercy’s was great. They gave me a free t-shirt, a folder with all kinds of information, the acceptance letter itself came in a little tube (I’m assuming to mimic a scroll). Northwestern College (not Northwestern University)'s was not bad. I love how nice they are afterwards. I even got a birthday card from them. I received a hand written letter from the dean of admissions congratulating me. It’s an uber safety, but I really do appreciate how nice they’ve been.

Of the UCs, Berkeley offers the best acceptance package. The other schools are all pretty standard.

Anyone know how Pace and UMass’ is? St. John’s? I’m supposed to know about all 3 this month. I’m so anxious

what did Vanderbilts rejection letter look like?

Temple u had a really nice acceptance…lots “congrats” and “you worked hard for this”…lol i know u guys applied to more top tier schools…but just saying

My status at Pace is now:

So excitedddd. I guess I’ll find out what theirs looks like soon

Flagler College ED acceptance was basic (no free stuff) it just said to send the deposit asap. haha

So my friend applied to Cornell ED last year as a joke. She did have legacy from her grandmother, but to put it delicately, Parchment couldn’t estimate her chances because the zeros overflowed. After kindergarten, it was all downhill from there.

Several weeks after she applied, Cornell sent her what must be the world’s first unlikely letter. I assume it was reviewed by a young adcom.

^ lol. Priceless

^^
Wait, did that really happen?

^Mum’s the word.

I suspect that it is untrue, but I was told that a small LAC near me hand-delivers acceptance letters to their top applicants. That would be special.

Actually, I could see that happening and it would not be too expensive. First, I’m sure that they really want the top 25 or so applicants to really boost their scores and those are the ones that would be likely to go elsewhere because they were accepted to many universities. If the LAC would overnight the acceptance letter to an alumni in the area and then that alumni would hand deliver it in the evening to the student. Think about how cool it would be to have someone hand deliver your acceptance to you. It would improve their odds that the applicant would go there, I would think.

From Randolph Macon College I got a really nice folder with a well written note, a postcard (handwritten), and a bunch of letters congratulating me.

Towson’s was impersonal. Big envelope. Just acceptance letter inside. State school… what else is new.

Niagara University sent me a sticker, note pad, and folder. Nice letter as well.

Princeton just sent me a small envelope congratulating me and telling me that my admission package would be delivered by the end of this month.
BEST LETTER EVER!!!

I didn’t write this letter, but this will be me after I receive my admission decisions:

"Dear Admissions Committee:

Having reviewed the many rejection letters I have received in the last few weeks, it is with great regret that I must inform you I am unable to accept your rejection at this time.

This year, after applying to a great many colleges and universities, I received an especially fine crop of rejection letters. Unfortunately, the number of rejections that I can accept is limited.

Each of my rejections was reviewed carefully and on an individual basis. Many factors were taken into account - the size of the institution, student-faculty ratio, location, reputation, costs and social atmosphere.

I am certain that most colleges I applied to are more than qualified to reject me. I am also sure that some mistakes were made in turning away some of these rejections. I can only hope they were few in number.

I am aware of the keen disappointment my decision may bring. Throughout my deliberations, I have kept in mind the time and effort it may have taken for you to reach your decision to reject me.

Keep in mind that at times it was necessary for me to reject even those letters of rejection that would normally have met my traditionally high standards.

I appreciate your having enough interest in me to reject my application. Let me take the opportunity to wish you well in what I am sure will be a successful academic year.

SEE YOU IN THE FALL!

Sincerely,
Applicant at Large "

Brandeis’s Rejection:
Thank you for your application to Brandeis University. The Committee on Admissions has fully reviewed your application. While your academic and personal accomplishments are noteworthy, we regret to inform you that we are unable to offer you a place in the Class of 2017.
Given the combination of limited space and an exceptional applicant pool, the decision to deny your application was not an easy one. I want to assure you that our staff devoted a great deal of time and attention to each students file and that your credentials received the fullest consideration.
I realize this letter may be disappointing for you. However, I am confident you will receive admissions offers from a number of excellent institutions and that you will enjoy an exciting collegiate experience. On behalf of the Committee on Admissions, I thank you for your strong interest in Brandeis and wish you success in the fulfillment of your educational and personal goals.

I don’t find it comforting at all. I guess it’s because of the disappointment… Either way, it’s depressing

Pace’s acceptance was pretty cool. The letter stuck out of my mailbox, and the envelope said, “The answer is YES”

Worst rejection was UVA early action. They couldn’t even be bothered to send a rejection letter, only acceptances. You found out by logging into your portal; it said decision: rejected. In other words, you’re so beneath us we don’t want to waste time and money mailing you a rejection.
