All right two good stories both in chemistry class.

We were taking an exam and I did some problem I think called an “Acid half balance reaction” and I worked out the problem and was 95% sure I had the right answer but I was unsure if I was going to get points off for not showing my work so I went to the back of the room where the teacher was and asked him if he wanted me to show work cause I did part of it in my head. Without saying anything, he grabbed my pencil and paper and erased the whole problem and redid it himself and got a different answer than and boxed it in and said “here you go.” true story

Another day we had an organic chemistry test after only a week of studying it, and to me, organic chemistry was easily the hardest thing all year and the teacher didn’t really prepare us for this exam at all. So during the exam I notice the teacher is chilling in the back again grading papers. I get about 5 peoples attention sitting around me and whispered to them

Me: Guys do you have any idea how to do any of this?

Them: Not at all this is bad…

Me: Okay look theres six total people between all of us and I guess about 22 questions on the test, lets all ask the teacher different questions on the test like I can get number 1 and someone else can get number 2 and across all of us, we will have asked every question on the test and then we can just copy cause theres only one test version.

So I gave each person a number to ask and we kept it out of order. The plan was to kinda bs the problem (or search it on the internet of a phone; found about 1/4 of the answers there) and then ask him if it was correct and if it wasn’t, he would correct it for that person. So it was all going well and we copied each others answers and with about 20 minutes left and 5 questions when he was getting in a bad mood and stopped answering our questions. We were going to have no prayer at getting those questions correct now but all of a sudden a miracle happened. Two cheerleaders came in and talked to him for about 10 minutes and then left. They put him in a better mood and we asked him the remaining 5 questions, copied from each other, turned the test in, and all made a 100.
