actually, the first half of my clicker responses werent recorded. I was never informed that mine weren’t being recorded until i got an email. The reason why they didn’t tell me earlier was b/c my clicker was registered in their database, but just had no responses.

what exactly is a clicker???

Ever heard of google Arjun?

Took me 10 seconds to find it.

i bow down to ur superlative browsing capabilities jrcho (sarcasm intended)…but u miss the point of a forum,to get the view of fellow students who r experiencin it first hand

anyways…does this ‘clicker’ help u guys in classes actually…i mean, isn’t it always better to actually go up to the professor after the class if u have a doubt…

if the clicker responses are used to take attendance and yours are not going through, then you should check with the professor…generally, the clicker responses aren’t used for attendance and checking with the teacher would be a waste of time. I didn’t even buy a clicker for chem 207.

um, for bio, they were worth 4-5 percent of ur grade…so in a curved class, 2 percent = 0, can affect ur grade, get my pt now

could we stay on topic?

I don’t understand how you didn’t know that your responses weren’t registering. When you enter a response, your id number should pop up on the screen. The id number should be the same number as the one that you received when you registered your clicker on the website.

Furthermore, you really cannot blame the professor for administrative matters. He’s only responsable for the material covered in class. He cannot even change the answers to a prelim without consulting other people that are higher up in the bio department.
