<p>Hi, I have a question about which college i should attend. Between SUNY new platz and albany and CUNY hunter and baurch, which colleges would have a better chance for me to transfer into a top ranked college. Can you tell me which school is better? Also I got into Fordham and I know it is a better springboard for me to transfer to schools like Northwestern but it is a private school so its really expensive. Any advices are appreciated. Thanks!!</p>
<p>I know this probably isn’t what you want to hear, but the difference is minuscule. The only true difference you’ll find is if you apply to Binghampton, it might give you a bit of an edge to be transferring from another SUNY, but honestly you really won’t find much of a difference otherwise. </p>
<p>Personally, if there was a way for you to reasonably afford Fordham, I’d suggest you go there. But otherwise, the internship opportunities, etc., you’ll find by choosing a CUNY will probably outweigh any prestige issues. </p>
<p>Also, you should note its typically a bad idea to enroll at a school you couldn’t conceive yourself graduating from in 4 years (other than say a community college). Applying as a transfer is so intensely competitive at top schools, and the financial aid often so dismal, it’s a bad idea to count on transferring already.</p>
