I hear a lot of people talk about the fabulous economics department at Chicago, but what about its English and Comparative Literature departments? Although Bard’s reputation as a whole is not as high as Chicago’s, it is definitely know for its literature. But which school’s department is better overall and offers the most resources to its undergraduates?

I suggest carefully comparing faculty, course offerings, and student opportunities at each. It is often more about finding your niche rather than any type of external criteria. Chicago is excellent, I know nothing of Bard.
Some day I hope to find a question about Chicago even you cannot answer, idad.
