Better to leave blank irrelevant question on CSS or fill in with a "$0"?

So for example, the CSS asks me whether or not my parents own a second home. I select no. THe next question asks me how much this second home costs.

Do I fill in a “0”, or just leave it blank? I would think the latter as filling in a “0” would render the previous question awkwardly redundant (and yeah, I guess this question is kind of redundant itself…).

Also, for questions requiring an input of money in numbers, do I add the dollar sign in each case? Or just enter the value and exclude the dollar sign ($)?

I’ve emailed the CB support sometime last night. No response yet. Will also ask GC tomorrow.

Thanks guys
