<p>She is an icon to a lot of kids my daughters age. I had never heard of her until last year when my D and her friends were talking about her.</p>
<p>I saw the movie about her that came out a couple of years ago. She’s very popular among a lot of Gen X’ers and Gen Y’ers, apparently! 1950’s pinup girl nostalgia. And I know a trans woman who named herself after Bettie Page.</p>
<p>Kenley, on the most recent Project Runway cycle, definitely had a “Bettie Page” look going, especially with her hair.</p>
<p>I’ve heard of her when a movie came out a few years ago. I googled and found some pictures of her on the BBC news.
