Between French or Arabic, which is more applicable to a future in business?

<p>I’m going to be a junior Supply Chain major. I already have a minor and two certificates, and still have room for more. I was thinking a foreign language makes sense, and something I’d be interested in.</p>

<p>I’ve narrowed it down to either French or Arabic. </p>

<p>I’ve taken several Near East classes already, and am really interested in the history/culture/language.
I’ve taken French in the past, and am also interested in the language.</p>

<p>So it really comes down to, which would serve me better?</p>

<p>French makes sense if you want to work/live in Quebec, France or possibly in eastern Switzerland. Or if you have a french speaking friends/family.</p>

<p>It looks like that you are not only interested in the language(arabic) but also in Near East Civilizations. In this case, I would go with arabic. Arabic would give you better understanding and deeper insight of Near East culture and history.</p>
