<p>There is a fabulous used book store in downtown Detroit, on the west edge of downtown, called John King Books. I can spend hours there on a wet weekend day.</p>

<p>The monthly used book sale at McLean Community Library. It may not be an actual store, but fill a bag for $5? I’m in heaven! The proceeds go to both the library and a bunch of different organizations in the area that vary monthly. During the summer they’re held every two weeks. My mom and I usually go once a month, pick up a few new books, then return them the next month we go.</p>

Now the difficult question, what do we do with all the books? My house is overrun with a 25 year accumulation. The thought of parting with any causes separation anxiety. Help.</p>
