<p>I qualified for the Florida Academic Scholar award at the end of my 8th semester; I was previously notified I qualified for the Medallion Scholar after my 7th semester. However, recently I checked my FSU financial aid and the Medallion Scholar award showed up rather than the Academic Scholar award. They have received my final transcript. I read that FAS recipients are notified in June, nearing the end of June I am getting worried. </p>

<p>My question is: Do they only notify the FAS recipients who qualified by 7th semester in June? When do they re-evaluate award recipients who qualify for a higher award? When do they notify those recipients? </p>

<p><em>I also read that “all other applicants” were notified in August. Is this where I am classified?</em></p>

<p>My guess, it just has not shown up yet. You were updated with the 7th semester info, just not the 8th semester info. It can take until August for 8th semester updates to show up on the FSU secure app. Sign on to FACTS.org and if you are at the higher level there, I would WAIT to see if it shows up on the FSU page, because it will. If by Aug 1 it is not there on the FSU secure app financial aid page, call FSU. But if FACTS.org shows you are FAS and not FMS, the electronic info WILL go to FSU and will show up. Eventually. And before the first day of fall semester.</p>

<p>If FACTS.org has not updated yet with FAS, monitor it, and check after July 1. If by July 1 it is correct, wait and check FSU after Aug 1. </p>
