Bicycling on Campus?

<p>Hey all,</p>

<p>I’m bringing a bicycle with me when I move in this coming week. Two of my literally back-to-back classes are at opposite ends of the university from each other. </p>

<p>Are there many people that ride bicycles to classes (especially during the daytime)? Is traffic really bad? Are there bike lanes on campus? </p>

<p>I come from a very car-dependent town and I’ve never bicycled in an urban environment before. I’m not yet comfortable sharing the road with tons of cars all over the place. </p>

<p>There are plenty of people biking in between all the walking people. I’ve had some close shaves before, but it’s pretty typical.</p>
