Rice has really increased its international population in the last few years. :)

Yeah? That’s good!lol I’m internatinal, but I will apply to Rice as an RD.Hmm.Thnx for your info! XD

The new freshman class has a population of 10% international while traditionally the number is 5%. Rice is becoming more and more globalized.

Hi, I’m an international student at Rice. I feel Rice is definitely trying to market itself better globally. Schools like Tufts and NYU have done a great job at doing this and Rice might find itself lagging behind a little bit. A lot of people from my country are really surprised that I turned down a great institution like Tufts for a (relatively unknown) school like Rice but to those in the know, the Rice brand of education is simply phenomenal, it’s just a question of marketing at the end of the day.
