Big mistake on UC application academic history

Recently I was accepted to UC San Diego. On my transcript it only shows my semester 2 grade as the final grade for AP classes. However, on the UC application, it makes you choose whether your school uses a full year or semester schedule. I chose the semester schedule, and for AP classes, I reported the class for 2 semesters, and inputted my grade for both of those semesters as the final grade shown on my transcript.

For example I ended with an A in AP Gov, and it’s a 2 semester and 2 credit class at my school. My transcript shows it as (Final Grade: A, Credits: 2.0), but doesn’t show any first semester grade. However, on the UC App, my dumbass put AP GOV down for 2 semesters as it’s a two semester class and I put my grade for BOTH semesters as an A. For the 1 semester/credit honors I entered it only once and put (NO) for the semester i didn’t take it.

I’m hoping this doesn’t make a difference to my UC GPA as my mistake counts 2 one-credit A grades verses reporting 1 two-credit A grade. I’m not sure whether this will get me rescinded or not when my official transcript is sent to the school.

You need to reach out to admissions ASAP to sort this out. Only they can tell you if the error will cost you admission or not.
