ok so heres my problem. I scheduled my medical exam as soon as I got the letter in the mail. I’ve been waiting for July 20th to come around because that’s when I thought my test date was. So here I am, July 19th, and I’m checking the dodmets webpage to see what I need to bring and I realize I scheduled my test for the 18th. Sooooo I missed my test. What do I do?

Actually, you may be out of luck. I just found this on dodmets web site:

Appointment Notification
Once you have scheduled your exams, enter the information on the “Medical Exams” page, so that Concorde will be aware of your appointment. If you need to cancel or reschedule any of your appointments, you must give the doctors at least 24 hours notice of the change. You will no longer be allowed to use Concorde’s medical providers if you miss your scheduled appointments and have not given proper notice.

I would call Concorde in Philadelphia to find out what you need to do.

The exerpt from the website that Luigi posted simply means you may not attend that Concorde affiliated doctor for free.

My suggestion would be to first call Concorde/DoDMERB. They will probably inform you that you need to schedule an appointment with another doctor and send them the results.

The only consequence of missing your appointment was that you now have to pay for a physical, and you lost valuable time in obtainging a waiver if dq’d. Luckily it’s still early. Good luck!

Not the first time it’s happened, nor the last time.
Call them, they are AMAZINGLY responsive and helpful.

But it should be a wakeup call to you to pay incredible attention to detail.

Your congressman/representative will mostly likely only meet candidates for their interview ONLY ONE DAY. Same for your Admissions Rep Interview.

Also, don’t make same the same mistake WE did.
GET ALL THE STUFF IN RIGHT AWAY!
The more you can get done BEFORE school starts, the better. The kid who got LOA had everything completed (recommendations, PFT, essays, etc) BEFORE thrst 2 weeks of school were done. Allowed more time to focus on interview prep.
