Big Priority mail package just arrived from UR

return address says UR Admssions!
so excited!- trying to decide whether to let daughter know at school or let her come home and find it!

if anyone is comparing delivery times, we live in NC!

I commend you for not openning it yourself although I know the impulse is hard to resist! Congrats to your daughter!

Congrats!! Definitely don't tell her, let her find it when she gets home.

I actually put all the mail back in the mailbox so she'll get to go find it herself!

I remember opening my UR acceptance letter 26 years ago! It was a very cool certificate instead of a letter- I think I have it in a scrapbook somewhere!

My daughter would be a fifth generation spider if it all works out!!

I got mine today too!! :)

It's chock full of goodies - a pretty certificate, acceptance letter, all in a UR folder... along with my financial aid package, which was very generous!

I'm SO excited!!

Mail just came. Good news!!

It's fun to see you all getting the mail! Congrats to all and let us know how we can help you as you prepare to make a decision!

Best wishes--

UR Admissions

I read somewhere about a program called Sophmore Scholars?
Can you describe that a little?

ahh i live in s. ny... but i know somebody else who got theirs who lives in my state. were acceptances sent out first??? :(

Florida - Accepted! :)

Boston - Accepted with GREAT financial aid!!!

wow - yes amzing financial aid here too
a lot cheaper than state school!!!

Accepted here, too....not sure if I'm going though.

Just got my acceptance today, Im really excited. I got no financial aid letter in the package, does that mean no financial aid or is there any chance it will arrive at a later time.

Are regular admissions arriving or just people with special awards? Anyone get a rejection or deferral? My d. is out of town - on a college tour in fact to places she has been admitted - and we are waiting for Richmond as the last one outstanding.

Ya these are all regular decision letters.

Beautiful folder and certificate (and very generous FA package).
My daughter has some tough decisions ahead.

Yes, the folder and certificate is very classy. What a nice touch!

I live in Richmond, but I haven't received a letter yet. Weird....

jbrown, congrats on the 5 generations. Given how the school has improved over the years, that's a very impressive feat. I wish we had more legacies.
