Big Win for Rocky!

<p>Just announced yesterday, January 1st, Rocky was declared the winner of Capitol One’s Mascot Challenge! Through months and months of dedicated voting, USF’s fans stayed persistent and brought Rocky to victory. Congrats to all of those who participated and brought attention to this competition! We did it!</p>

<p>The proactive (and disappointed) students of USF have banded together to petition the current ways of the USF Athletic Department. This is truly great and goes to show the type of student USF has. Behind this movement are students I know personally who genuinely care about the presentation of USF and experience of the USF affiliates (i.e. students, faculty, alumni). Great change is coming our way.</p>

<p>USF athletics will right itself. USF’s football and men’s basketball teams are rebuilding…we’ll get there.</p>

<p>Rebuilding? Yes.Things are definitely going to get better. Games. School spirit. The whole experience.</p>

<p>I’m glad that the student body is 100% behind this change. Just waiting isn’t going to do anything. Change is needed. </p>
