<p>Use a U-lock. The bike coil locks are very easy to cut through. A thief would go for the easier steal. Also, get a bike from Target or Walmart. These bikes are the most common and reduce the risk of someone stealing your bike for resale value. Lastly, make sure you lock your bike onto the parking structure. A few times I’ve locked my bike onto the bike itself but not the structure, leaving it open for anyone to steal. I was fortunate that nobody noticed my stupidity, but I sure felt like an idiot afterwards!</p>
