<p>Something worth under $100. A cruiser with medium-fat tires works well at USF cuz the campus is mostly flat without hills to climb. A single speed cruiser doesn’t have gear selectors and hand brake levers on handle bar that can get busted up in bike racks around campus. A basket on handle bars to carry books is nice, and you need to get a chain and padlock, or u-lock to secure bike. Cruisers have fenders to keep mud from spraying up your back in rain…mountain bikes and road bikes don’t have fenders.</p>
