<p>If you get irritated by stray handouts, a binder is the way to go. I personally prefer the notebook because it makes me feel like I’ve accomplished something when I have all my notes in one place at the end of the class. There are a lot of threads on binder vs. notebook if you use search.</p>

<p>EBM, yes use a mechanical pencil :P, and I suggest using a hi-polymer eraser. Not those useless ones on the actual pencil.</p>
