Binder Ready Textbooks?

On the UMCP bookstore website, one of my books is a binder-ready version. I understand that this means it’s shrinkwrapped and that I can place the pages inside of a 3-ring binder, but if I don’t highlight and take care of the book well, how much resell value can I get? I’m buying it for around $108 from the UMCP bookstore website.

Anyone have any input?

First, check amazon and bookholders to make sure you can’t get the book any cheaper at either of those. The University bookstore rarely has the cheapest price on the book. Second, if you buy the binder ready version of the book, you may have trouble selling it back at all since, if they were to buy it back, they have no way of knowing that you didn’t accidentally lose any of the pages. Note, however, that I have never bought one of the binder versions and have not actually tried this.

i bought a used one from the umcp bookstore for $61 and i’m kinda not sure if i really prefer it because of the lack of ability to sell it back too  bookholders would probably be a good place to check though if you’re worried.
