I got a notification today at 7:21 pm from Binghamton (EA) and I got deferred 
94.89 weighted GPA - IB Diploma Candidate
Hispanic
From Westchester County
Nursing Major
Ecs: Fencing captain, fencing at a club, concert band, volunteering at hospital, leadership at mental health initiative, camp counselor, media manager
Hopefully I get in regular decision

Hello! My son was deferred last year (95%, 1440) and was very disappointed. He sent in updated stats/awards and was admitted a couple of weeks later. He just finished his first semester at Watson.
I am optimistic for you!

Any in state get merit scholarships? Other than those crappy restrictive in State for 5 yrs ?
My D25 is in state and quite high stats and no mention of any merit in her acceptance (mid December) or since. Have not heard that anyone she knows was offered merit either but of course kids don’t always share that info.

Did you get an email or just happened to check your portal?
I got an email - I was working out actually on my home treadmill and my watch kept buzzing and would not stop (it was telling me about the email, then how I was filling my Move Rings) but yeah I got an email, checked the portal 13mn or so later, and found out.

Son just got deferred from business school. In-state 1440 SAT 96% GPA, 8 AP’s, 2 Dual Enrollment. Kinda surprised.

Got accepted! Received an email to check my portal at 7:17 PM. Anyone know when honors college and merit aid information is released?

Yes you should get an email with a portal update. But at Pitt, which also sends emails, D25 never got the email and saw her decision in the portal by checking. So it doesn’t always work perfectly I guess.
7:17 email received for Harper decision. Admitted in state for Fall, Westchester public HS

Received Harpur decision last night. Deferred to RD for biology. 1490 SAT (800 RW, 690 M), 3.7 W 3.5 UW, 2 APs done 1 in progress, 600+ volunteer hours, hands-on science research experience, aquarium internship. Not super upset as Bing isn’t a top choice for me, but disappointing regardless. They’re not requesting mid-year grades like SBU is, though, which makes me hopeful that I’m close to the top of the deferral list.
