Binghamton Good enough?

So I was denied to Cornell’s AEM program ED. I applied to Binghamton School of Management as a backup EA and expecting acceptance.
I have very good stats
IB Diploma
Started own business
Started own non-profit
3 Sports
High GPA
Eagle Scout
etc.

Anyhow would going to Binghamton for business be settling for less? I was thinking of applying to Boston College, Northeastern. Main pro for Bing would be no debt for undergrad, enter as a sophomore.

I just don’t know about prestige and ability to connect me with big name companies

I think you’re looking WAY too much into prestige here.

First of all, if you like the college, than it’s not ‘settling for less’ just because the school doesn’t have a big time name. As long as it’s a learning experience and you’ll make at least some connections, it’s okay.

Second, if you’re actually unhappy with Binghamton as a school, than I’m sure there are a lot of school which would be more than happy to take you. You got rejected by Cornell, try for a top state school’s honor program. NYU. Rutgers. There’s loads of options.
