Son accepted to Watson. Email came around 7:20 pm 12/2. In state. Applied mid October.

1550 SAT, 98 unweighted gpa. No class rank. Decent extracurriculars but not amazing. 7 APs; Science Research. Decent leadership but not amazing. (I mean I think he’s amazing but some kids actually change the world; he’s more a solid do your work and be a good person kind of kid). Watson. Hoping desperately for the honors program - but knows possibilities are low.

How long ago did you receive an e-mail, if you don’t mind me asking? Daughter checked e-mail and portal about an hour ago and nothing has changed (about noon time Fri 12/3/21). She probably missed this wave of decisions, yes? And shouldn’t hold out hope she might hear later on this evening?
