Binghamton University receives $6 million

BINGHAMTON, NY – An anonymous donor has given $6 million to Binghamton University, State University of New York – the largest gift from an individual in its history – to be used in part for financial aid and student scholarships as well as other areas of need in the University.

<p>I wonder what Binghamton will do with the money? I hope it’s invested back into the students (ie: financial aid, helping academics … perhaps offsetting recent budget cuts to the SUNY system).</p>
