What do we need for the lab of bio 1b, since the lecture and lab are now combined, the required texts on the online schedule of classes just has the textbook. I have lab tommorow morning, so a quick response would be appreciated. kthnx.

lecture lab have always been combined. there should be something online for you to read from bspace no?

There is no bspace.
But i found the webpage, which says we need no manual, i guess this means we still need a lab notebook though.

Go to the bio1b website. don’t need anything. click on the lab section of the website. it has lab worksheets. bio1b is basically just filling out worksheets and goofing off the rest of the lab period. lol. so just print those i guess…

This is the website!
You download what you need for that week.

I’ve got another general question, on grading. Will the point cutoffs be lowered if everyone does a little worse, and also, are the exams insanely easy, because I don’t see how one could get an A without getting 90+s on the exams, assuming an 85 in labs.

iirc bio 1b is notorious for its terrible grading system, so you’re best bet to ensure an A is to get those As on the exams. Some of the exams depending on the teacher are tricky while others are pretty straightforward. Problem is, everyone does well on the straightforward ones and average on the tricky ones. lol
