<p>I’m considering this major. Is anyone going for pre-med taking this major or have taken it? Any opinions of it?</p>
<p>My former RA was a BAA major and really liked it. She is also pre-med. You really need to take BAA 93 before you can take most of the other classes.</p>

<p>It’s one of the more common pre-med oriented majors outside of BME in Pratt. I know a number of people majoring in BAA at Duke. Don’t worry too much about this now - you don’t need to decide now. Take BAA 93 if you can first semester and get an advisor knowledgable about BAA, and attend the pre-med info sessions during freshman orientation and you’ll do fine.</p>
