Im taking the bio E test in october, and i want to know how much of the bio M material i need to know for the core section

I think it is the last few (20?) questions that make the difference between the Bio M and the Bio E, so you should study it all. I would stick with general concepts and major theories as opposed to the names of the scientists who discovered/invented them. I think if you have a generalized idea about the main ideas of cell processes like cellular respiration, transcription/translation you know, stuff like that, you should be able to figure most it out.

I was reading some of the m section notes. Do I need to know the exact chemical reactions for cellular processes

I think you should at least know the products and reactants for things like cellular respiration and photosynthesis. On the E test, though, you probably do not have to know all the intermediates, though. Just a guess.
