Bio Questions

Which of the following most likely developed as a result of coevolution between plants and animals?

I. Birds eat berries and scatter the seeds with their droppings.
II. Rosemary plants contain a chemical that is inedible to deer.
III. A vine has flowers that smell bad to humans, but attract flies that spread pollen.

I’m pretty sure I and III are true because those seem to be mutual relationships, but would II count as well? If it said that the deer evolved some new trait that allowed it to digest the plant then I think it would be, but as it is, what do you guys think?

Right now, II. alone isn’t a result of coevolution but as you’ve said, if there was evidence of one causing the other to develop a new trait then it would be coevolution.
