Well, it should be
In my mind the whole biodisel thing is a huge scam.

I remember W’s speech well on biofuels. What an idiot. Pandering to those who want an handout.

Almost all politicians pandered to the biofuel people to win over midwestern farmers even if it screwed over the rest of us.

biodiesel is the latest attempt of big oil to maintain their control over the mess they orchestrated in manipulating any effective rework of a viable alternative energy solution.

Good ridance.

Just my $.02.

Huge scam on American taxpayers.

You are also aware of Obama’s position on ethanol, right?

I am aware that Illinois grows a lot of corn and soybeans which are both feedstocks for biofuels. Obama’s position should be towards his state and national interests as I would think any other senator would have. Obama’s position therefore is probably for biofuel production. What an idiot. Pandering to those who want an handout.

Corn alcohol is also not an efficient fuel.
Corn subsidy should be removed.
Alcohol tariffs should be removed.
Tax preferences on biofuel plants should be removed.
State mandates for using biofuels should be removed.
