I’m a rising freshman at Cornell University.

As for the guessing game, I’ll go with what seems to be the popular choice, UVA.

Fine!

Somebody dropped off chinese, so I don’t need the money anymore.:D

Good luck, guys.

P.S. I don’t think she’ll tell; so concerneddad that, watch it before you get sued:D -I am sure Aries is eager to get some practice.

I think you’re all wrong about where AA goes to school.

What am I? A genuine greybeard.

I’m a rising freshman at Stanford University

LMAO! You guys are hilarious. Thanks to those who are keeping mum. ;)

Yeah, really, with two kids in college I could use the seven bucks. But fair’s fair. Even on the law board lol.

Hum… perhaps I should start bribing y’all to NOT say where I go… but, as I have thousands of dollars in educational debt, the bribery would probably come in the form of Grand Marnier-infused Ghirardelli’s chocolate brownies and not the $7 or whatever the current pool is down to now.

I will be on the East Coast Aug. 9th through 27th visiting colleges with my daughters, I expect there to be brownies waiting for me along I-95!

I’ll take a brownie, too, for keeping mum, although I could walk a few blocks and buy one (I am an intellectual property attorney in the San Francisco Bay area). Don’t get any higher in debt, AA.

LOL! Concerned Dad, I realized that I could possibly give you said brownies… 'nuff said here though.

DadofSam - sure, San Fran is home to Ghirardelli’s (second only to Burdicks, IM-PCL-O), but would those brownies have Grand Marnier in them?

I am liking this thing about the pool going down and not up. Makes it better for me.

If anyone is in Chicago at the end of the month, we can arrange a brownie drop-off. I’m thinking lockers in the airport for a James-Bond-style exchange.

Ariesathena: I’m not as up to date on Ghirardelli’s(R) products as I could be. Do you mean to imply that you are (or someone else is) adulterating their product using Grand Marnier(R) liqueur? If so, please be aware of the possibilities of trademark infringement; appropriate action should be taken to avoid that.

LOL! No, it’s just my usual baking rule: whenever you see water in a recipe, substitute a liqueur.

It’s not adulterated - it’s an improvement. :p

OH! Home-made brownies. I hadn’t seen any brownies from Ghirardelli, but as I said, I’m not really up to date on them. However, if you can believe what you read in the papers, Scharffenberger’s is now the chocolate to use (or eat) - and of course, it’s a lot more expensive.

I think ariesathena goes to Washington and Lee.

Scharffenbergers?? Will have to look it up (and, in the name of science, try some!).

Y’all, this thread is biographies, not guess-where-Aries-lives. :p

OK, middle-aged, Great Dane showing, football fanatic, who also practices law

Ok. I guess I’ll take the brownies…but for the sake of my pride, make it a dozen:D

Then we can go running around the UVA campus;)

P.S. Easy on the Grand Marnier, though.

Why? It all burns off during the cooking. :)

A dozen batches of brownies? Can’t I just give you the $6 or whatever it is? I don’t care how many Blue Ridge Mountains we run around - dozen batches of brownies is a little much. :p

Ariesathena, do you think we are going to come find you and get you or something? Just utter the name “UVA” and the pain will subside.

It’s not you guys that I’m worried about - it’s those lurkers who concern me. Some of it is that I want to be free to talk about my experiences without someone at my law school knowing who I am.

If you want to find me during the school year, the library is the best place to start. ;)

ConcernedDad has the right idea… can be general or as specific as you want, but I just thought that you enquiring student types might want to know our backgrounds.
