yeah like my teacher complains alot about it but i think it was certianly readable or at least you can make out the general gist of it… its no means like incomprehensible.

^^ same here! haha
I answered 77…but Idk I feel like I could have missed up to like 20 maybe…idk
I was 100% sure on a bunch of them…but I don’t know how many of them haha
the rest…I’ll find out in July I guess hahaha
but I was super excited because I think I got like 25-30 points on the FRQ ![]()
surely I got a 4!..lol
I really need it haha
now chem tomorrow…that’s a totally different story…

MC was easier than the practice tests I took in my opinion. FRQ #1 was probably the hardest since it seemed to be the most specific. It’s either you know it or you don’t. The rest were very easy and required little biology knowledge to answer them.

I see hahaha
Yeah… MC wasn’t my favorite
I was really happy when I knew for sure the answer…that just only seemed to happen one ever 5 LOL
but I don’t think I screwed it up really bad…
yes number one…I didn’t know at ALL lol
I knew half of the first one and I went into detail about what I DID know so I think I got like 2 points on that one
I wrote like 2 pages each on the next two and they were pretttty good I feel ![]()
and number 4 was kinda ehhh I think I got half of the points…6 if I’m lucky lol
I’m excited…I think I did well enough for a 4! :)

i got aprox. 75% on the MC and i probably got half credit on the first FRQ full cred on FRQ 2 and 3, but i didnt answer anyuthing for FRQ 4. Can i still geta 5??

adtobe: Yes, it pretty much looks like you’re fairly safe for a 5 - [AP Pass - AP Biology Calculator](AP Biology Test Score Calculator - AP Pass)

Yeah, Bio’s one of the easier tests to get a 5.

I felt that the multiple choice were extremely easy on this exam. So I’m think I got around 75 correct on those. I did answer them all though.

1st essay: I failed epicly at this. Probably only got 3-4 points on it. Didn’t really go over it much in class ever :/

2-4: I felt really good about these and probably got 6-8 points per on these

So it I go on the low side of everything and use the ap pass calculator. Assuming I got 70 MC right, 30 wrong, 3 on the 1st essay, 5 on 2nd, 6 on 3rd and 6 on the 3rd; I would just make it by with a 5.

thats with the massive curve of 08… we may not get that this year…

im just freaking about whether they can read my handwriting… im sure its fine… some words i know look like scribbles but you can get the gist of it lol…

Can someone explain to me what a curve is and why there was such a huge curve the last two years? Thanks!

@NspiredOne: lol, I’m pretty sure everyone’s handwriting is like that by the end of the test :). Mine certainly were.

Yeah, mine got preeeettty bad near the end. It’s weird because when I was done, I went back and added more to all of my responses, so the first question was originally in neat writing, but then it just switches to bad writing (the part I added in my extra time). lol

lol that makes me feel better. my first question was really neat. after that… went down hill. but yea im dead serious though. i literally scribbled communication so that it looked like connnnication lol hopefully they get the gist that its communication.

So pretty much everyone in my school who I spoke with saw this test unfavorably after taking the practice AP exams that the collegeboard had released.

I’m not feeling too good about this exam…

What date do we get the exam scores back. R they in the mail??

The proctors told us around the third week of July.

Can someone please tell me what a curve is and how it works? And the expected curve for this year?

Unless somebody here is psychic, there is absolutely no way of predicting the curve.

The curve is a way of making sure the highest-performing students get the highest grade, and to have a certain percentage of students obtain each score. If the highest score is 90 out of 100, for example, then the curve will be applied so that 90 is equivalent to 100. Everybody benefits from a curve.

What did you all think of the essays?

Not too bad. I totally had to bs my way through the first one though
