Biology 2010 Prep

is there an embargo lift soon for ap bio?

I’ve never taken an ap so i don’t really know how it works!

Thanks!

^Not until 48 hours has passed

I thought the 3rd FRQ was bad

Seeking Uni, thank you for your detailed explanation. If i got about 85 MC correct, 13 wrong, 2 skipped, and on the frq an 5,7,5,4, can i get a 5?

Bioboy, yes, easily a 5.

I thought the third and first FRQ were bad. Well some of the third FRQ was bad, but I knew enough to BS it enough to feel good about it.

The first FRQ was terrible! Of all the things they could ask us to recall!! At least I generally knew enough about the topic to BS two paragraphs (which was my whole FRQ) :/

The last FRQ was a gift from heaven for me :D

Thanks!

I agree the third was bad, fourth and first one I think was okay, the second was a little tricky

I thought the multiple choice was fairly difficult minus a couple nice ones.

JamesGold, if what you are saying is true, you have just made me the happiest man alive. Thanks so much for making this day wonderful!!! Now I can enjoy the rest of my ap bio class cuz we are CAT DISSECTING!!!

The multiple choice was not bad. Granted, they ask you to recall a lot of things, but it was just pretty straightforward questions.

Except for the question about Cxx-Sqxxxx (I x-ed out most of the letters, is this still allowed?) I had no idea what that was, I never encountered that in my whole bio class!

The second one was a little tricky! I found myself contradicting myself in parts C and D!

Bioboy: Us too!!! LOL we are going to dissect some cats, fetal pigs, and sharks. =]]]

You get to dissect cats in AP Bio? lucky!!

Normally it’s for anatomy and physiology class but since we have nothing left to do for a month, we’re going to dissect.

It wasn’t at all too bad for me, and the MCs were not at all hard. I’m just a bit nervous because I answered all of them, guesses included, because I thought it was of my advantage and I’ve just been conditioned to do so, I guess. I think I did pretty well on the essays, so I’m desperately hoping some miraculous curve will give me a 5.

I disected a cat for my anatomy and physiology class. It was grossss!

lame we get to work on our final projects b/c we have to pair up our class with research methods… and take the freakin final(200 problems…)

I think I killed that test hahahaha

I guess post-AP exam is the only good part about having a laid-back, perhaps careless, teacher. :p

ha, in my class we’ve made a line up of movies we’re going to watch (about 5), and then next monday we’re dissecting pigs!

My entire class was really confident after taking the test, and I was sort of surprised.

I guess, optimistically, I’d get a 50-59 on the MC and maybe a 24-26 on the FRQ.

Probably a 3, maybe a 4.

Can’t wait till third week of july:)

Fortunately, this exam went very well. As expected, my plant retention was a bit flimsy, although certainly not to the extent that it would ultimately affect the composite score.

My score report from last year was dated June 26 and arrived to the mailbox before July.

Glad to know the test went well for you, Mifune.

I think when you get your scores is dependent on where you live.
